Fattening cows
Culled cows are nearly or fully grown. Therefore, cows start their finishing phase with more meat than young bulls.
During the finishing or fattening phase, it is best to add higher energy and fat components to the ration. Efficient protein provision is also recommended to improve meat quality.
The intake capacity of these cows is quite developed. This makes it possible for them to assimilate a significant proportion of roughage and by-products and for you, the cattle farmer, to optimise the feed requirements of your beef cattle based on your goals.
For each type of ration, we have formulated a feed rationing calculation that guarantees the production of high-quality meat while keeping costs under control.
